RADIANT BODY MASSAGE
Looking for a Massage Therapist in Elk River?
Welcome to Radiant Body Massage! My name is Brandon and I bring years of hands-on experience and over 900 hours of training in massage, therapeutic bodywork, and mind-body-spirit to my massage practice in Elk River. A little more about my professional qualifications is that I am a Licensed and Certified Massage Therapist. Additionally, I have passed the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards' Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) which is a national standard. This credential goes above any standard the State of Minnesota has for professional massage therapists.
But, just as important as my extensive training and experience in therapeutic massage and bodywork practice is my sensitive listening and touch which enables me to work with you as a partner to find your perfect inner balance.
What is Massage? What Can I Expect at Radiant Body Massage?
Pain, stress, anxiety, depression, sadness – these are the languages of your body. Together, we will take the time to listen to what your body is telling us. I use my broad mix of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger-Point Therapy, Sports Massage, and Reiki to restore balance with my clients as active partners. That is, massage helps your body do what it does best – live. Let’s begin your journey to wellness and balance today.
What Types of Massage Can I Receive at Radiant Body Massage?
No two bodies are the same, so why would anyone provide the same type of massage to everyone? My goal is to provide a tailored and unique experience for every client. Part of my job as a successful massage therapist is to ask questions – and listen. Together, we will identify the best plan for you so you may achieve your personal wellness goals.
A few of the massage modalities I practice are:
Deep Tissue Massage
Spa Hot Stone
During your treatment, I will first warm up an area. Then, I’ll sink into the tissue to locate imbalances, working that area until it is time to move on, then calm the area back down again from the deeper work. Your body is a series of layers and we address it layer by layer, respecting boundaries and encouraging the tissue to open up. This allows for deeper layers of tissue to be worked effectively. Remember, everyone is different so the time and progression will vary for every client.
Have more questions about the various modalities I can provide? Please, contact me today. I’d love to hear from you!
How Do I Know Which Type of Massage Session is Right For Me?
First, ask yourself, “What do I want to accomplish by getting a massage with Brandon? And, how do I want to feel after getting a massage?”
Revitalize Massage Session
Does any of this sound like you:
Do you want to reduce stress, worry, or anxiety?
Perhaps you want to alleviate headaches/migraines or TMJ pain?
You may even have high blood pressure and have the weight of the world on your shoulders.
Do you want to find serenity, fade away, or potentially fall asleep (a sign of letting go) and feel refreshed?
If any of those sound like you, then a Revitalize Massage Treatment is for you – think spa/relaxation.
However, sometimes you need more – to get down to the source...
Restoration Massage Session
Does any of the following sound like you?
Do you want to decrease pain, increase range of motion, and correct muscle imbalances?
Are you trying to locate the origin of pain, breakup tissue adhesions, eliminate trigger points (knots), and encourage muscle recovery?
Deep “digging” into the tissue and “really getting the spot worked out” is for the people who don’t feel satisfied with a relaxation massage. These are the people who want real muscle used to fix their discomfort.
If all that sounds like what you need, then the Restoration Massage Session is for you. Think more clinical/wellness/deep tissue. This is very focused, targeted bodywork.
The Restoration Massage Session is best for addressing two to three areas of the body within a 60-minute session. For the 90-minute session, it is best for a deeper focus on anywhere from two to five targeted areas of your body with complimentary work on the whole body.
